Quick60 beginning reading programme

Designed for students who come to school with few literacy skills.  The aim of Quick60 is to bring groups of up to five struggling students to year-level in reading and spelling, within 60 quick lessons or fewer.  To this end, the Quick60 programme is strictly levelled and contains all the elements needed for reading acquisition and development.

Quick60 - components

Alphabet Books:  26 student books that teach not only alphabet letters and sounds but also 25 basic high-frequency words.

Alphabet Poem Cards:  26 poem cards to teach and reinforce the alphabet letters, sounds and basic high-frequency words taught in the Alphabet Books

Factual Books Set 1:  60 sequential, levelled, factual books for emergent, early and early fluency readers.

Factual Books Set 2:  60 sequential, levelled, factual books progressing from Set 1

e-Books and Audio:  Digital e-books and audio are available for Quick60 Alphabet Books, Set 1 and Set 2 books.

FREE Teacher Support:  Quick60 offers free on-line teacher support material including lesson plans and lesson summaries, which outline the lesson and guide you through the Quick60 programme without further training. Support materials also include, student testing, cut-up sentences, spelling cards, high-frequency word cards and colour-coded check sheets that provide you with formative assessment and guide your teaching.
